Club Purpose

The Curtin Film Society provides opportunities for Screen Arts students to network and express their filmic creativity, primarily through collaboration on audio-visual projects (short films, documentaries, web-series, promotional content, etc.). We also host social events and educational workshops, open to the wider student, staff, alumni & industry community. The CFS helps Screen Arts students to develop their skillsets and gain experience through industry-standard filmmaking practice (focus areas include producing, directing, camera, sound, lighting, editing, production design, dramaturgy & writing). We hope to create a community built on principles of teamwork, professionalism and creative expression.
